10-13-01 Dynojet Run @ Speedworks of Lewisville. After Throttle Position Motorsports replaced a faulty injector (well, replacing ALL injectors with 555s since the opportunity presented itself) and colder NGK plugs, it was time for a few dyno runs. Shahram helped me out (with a few new friends - Dee and Gus). Here are the results:
This is pretty good, although from 3500 to 5000 RPM, we could smooth the A/F ratio a bit more. This is a bit apples-to-oranges comparison with manual transmission cars. Remember that the automatic is slightly faster "real world" in most instances vs. a manual, even though the base HP between the two cars are different (280 vs. 300). |
