It took me about 2 weeks to get the unit back.  You either send in yours for a "reprogram", and they will send you back a unit.  Or, if you go to your local speedshop, they might forgo doing this and simply order it directly.  This is the best option because you will have no downtime.

This unit is located under the footwell on the passenger side.  Take out your floormat, lift back the carpet (attached with velcro strips).  Next, unscrew 4 screws to the wooden floor board.  After taking this out, you will see the unit.
